Maple Leaf Reforestation Provides IR Details

DETAILS OF IR SERVICES ARRANGEMENT

Maple Leaf Reforestation Inc. has provided further details with respect to its engagement of Don Farrell as manager of investor relations:

  • Mr. Farrell has been engaged as a consultant for a six-month period commencing Feb. 1, 2009, and ending July 31, 2009.
  • Mr. Farrell will receive monthly compensation of $5,000 and will receive 300,000 options to purchase common shares of the company should he fulfill the full six-month term of the agreement.
  • Mr. Farrell will be responsible for providing the company with the following services:
    • Advising the company with respect to and overseeing the preparation of informational materials with respect to the company and its projects for dissemination to existing and potential shareholders;
    • Representing the company to, and communicating with, existing and potential retail and institutional shareholders and investors, and providing information and materials with respect to the company and its activities and properties to such existing and potential shareholders and investors;
    • Increasing the public's awareness of the company and its activities;
    • Assisting in obtaining, developing and maintaining contacts with other persons or companies who might assist in developing and meeting the business objectives of the company;
    • Implementing and co-ordinating dissemination programs to put information with respect to the company and its activities and programs into the hands of existing and potential shareholders and investors;
    • Preparing presentations with respect to the company and its activities and properties for use by company personnel at investor conferences, trade shows and similar venues;
    • Providing such other investor relations services as may be requested by the company from time to time and as are reasonably within the expertise and experience of the consultant.
Mr. Farrell has been involved in the investment industry since 1969. After working as a broker with Merrill Lynch of Canada and Donaldson Securities for five years, Mr. Farrell was involved with numerous public companies acting as a director and assisting with the investor relations and financing efforts of these issuers. The various issuers included Cusac Gold Inc., Gulf Titanium Ltd., Archer Minerals Inc. (which subsequently became Q-Sound Inc.), MDE Explorations Ltd. (which subsequently became Air Packaging Ltd.), GMD Resource Corp, Current Technologies Inc., LMX Resources Ltd. and Sheffield Resources Ltd.
